Our Story

Often we are asked where the name “Branstone” came from? We put a lot of thought into our company name and although we wanted to be identified nationally and regionally, we recognize that many clients have strong roots in the community. We chose “Bran” from Brandon and “stone” from the keystone province, a recognized moniker for Manitoba. The addition of “Financial Strategies” describes the work that we are passionate about. Our logo is an abstract shape of our province integrating the four pillars of financial security planning (liquidity, disability, retirement, financial security at death). The “dot” in the bottom left hand corner represents southwestern Manitoba, and we chose harvest colours for our logo as it best represents our community.

Kevin is joined in Branstone Financial Strategies Inc.’s Brandon office by Kristie Miller and Nash Martin, Financial Security Advisors, along with Jen Knapp, Administrative Assistant. The Branstone team also includes advisors Debbie Lang and Emma Lang, both Certified Financial Planners. Debbie’s practice is based in northwestern Ontario, where Emma works closely with her clients while continuing to build a growing practice of her own.
